Japan: Nippon TV conducted a survey on human rights risks and announced plans to provide regular training and ensure thorough awareness of reporting channels

Nippon Television revealed that it had conducted an anonymous survey of all employees regarding human rights risks as a part of their human rights due diligence. It said the survey was planned regardless of the Fuji Television scandal, and said it intend to conduct it every year.

"One specific example from the answers was a request to stop creating an atmosphere that makes it rude not to drink alcohol at a dinner party," he explained, adding that efforts will be made to prevent harassment from occurring by regularly conducting training and ensure thorough awareness of reporting channels.
