Myanmar: Garment workers hired as day labourers denied benefits of permanent employees; incl. co. non-responses

In October 2024, it was reported that workers at Sunrise Myanmar are facing a series of violations, including 60 day labourers hired at the factory who are being denied permanent contracts, and as a result face low wages, unpaid overtime, and denial of benefits that permanent employees receive.

In December 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Honeys and Shimamura (For Closshi) to respond. They did not.
